The other night, I was singing our favorite lullaby to my two year old before bed and she started singing with me. As we sang, I felt so emotional. What a special moment for me to hear her sing the lullaby that her daddy and I have sang to her since her first day earth side. For her to learn such a special song with such sweet words, makes for a very magical moment in motherhood. I read not-too-long-ago that a majority of Millennial parents don’t know all of the words to most traditional lullabies – and let’e be honest they aren’t really that cute. But this one I am about to share is so precious, all you new mama’s are definitely going to want to save this post so you can learn this lullaby for your new, precious baby!

Here is a video of her and I singing together before her nap the other day, I tried to edit out the fan noise without any luck – so my apologies for that. But her little voice is just the sweetest and it makes my heart swell knowing that my babies love this song and will always think of me and their daddy whenever they hear it. One day, I hope to sing it to their babies, too as my mom sang it to me!
