My favorite Combination for Natural Lashes

Over the years, I have been asked more times than I can count if these are my real lashes — the answer, YES!! Let me share my secret!

I should start by saying, even though I love all things beauty — I could never do lash extensions. I love to rub my eyes at the end of the night and the thought of maintaining them is just too overwhelming. The less maintenance the better in my book! BUT I still love the look of long, healthy, thick lashes. So this combination is my response to the question, “are those your real lashes?!”

Lash Therapy // Lash Leather Mascara // One Compact makeup // Skincare // Favorite Makeup Removing Cloths

First things first:

Mascara can only do so much — even with the best of the best! You need to take care of your natural lashes just like you would any other beauty maintenance you do. Lashes can get dry and brittle just like the hair on your head — so we must condition them.

Lash Conditioner

My personal favorite lash therapy is from Hello Skincare. Their formula is paraben, cruelty, phosphate, silicon, and sulfate free, and vegan friendly. This deep-conditioning lash serum uses a unique blend of peptides, vegan stem cells, vitamins, and amino acids to fortify and amplify the appearance of lash length and fullness. I have been using it for a couple years now and can’t say enough good things about it! Be sure to use code KRISTAL20 for 20% off your purchase!

Next: Mascara

I have tried both high end and drug store mascara — the conclusion: TUBING. I am most definitely not a waterproof mascara girlie. It is hard to get off, even with makeup remover, which is hard on your lashes (p.s. don’t scrub too hard on your lashes!! gentle touch!) Tubing mascara is a type of mascara that forms tubes around eyelashes to lengthen and define them. It’s known for being smudge-proof, clump-resistant, and easy to remove. The best thing? No raccoon eyes at the end of the day! To remove, all you need is some warm water and a cloth and gently dab from root to tip to remove the tubes. This one from SEINT is definitely my favorite — but THIS ONE will do in a pinch!
